The Big Shift
We are indeed in changing times, not that the life force has ever held still. It’s always changing, but is not often where we humans care to notice. This pandemic has brought upon an abrupt shake that has stopped the globe all at once. It’s no longer those people over there, it’s one for all and all for one.
We are all impacted, although at differing levels. Some aspects for consideration are gender, class, social economics, wealth, health, the part of the world you live in. It’s scary and frightening plus it has shined a big bright light on issues that have exacerbated since the pandemic. Gross poverty, pay gap efficiencies, working poor, homeless etc. The big things that we have no control over we have to let go. Not easy, but it allows for any pent up energy to be released. We crave the notion of knowing - as we feel safer. If the future doesn’t look rosy then we’ll do all our power to change it. Whether we know it or not, this time is shining a light not only on the way we live but what we do for living and the impact of health and wealth. Life is truly an ebb and flow, though daunting for some, others have created a new way out of uncertain times.
As a youngster we had to identify what career we wanted to do. This was initiated by adults asking questions. Notice the question asked was what you wanted to be or do. Not where your passion lied. If this was explored, a deeper reality would submerge. Passion and desires may not necessarily be locked into one particular thing and are not static forever and ever. Passion can change and give permission to look at more than one thing that locks into your soul. Take a look at what you do for a living. Is it serving you and the world as it should?
If you are happy, good on you. For those seeing it as chore this continuation of the cycle can be for a number of reasons: financial, fear of change, age, scarcity of an abundant vision of another role. If you asked yourself if there were no obstacles in the mind what would you do? Paint a picture of your desires, write them down along with the legacy you want to leave on the planet. Get to grips with those challenges and go find the resolutions. Are you giving the boxed version of yourself the lead in misery? Choose silence to both release fear and inspire and act on ideas. Be the creative being in your life step by the messages that habitually hold you back. If not now then when. Doing what you love is a health and wealth plan entwined into one.
Recognise the power of the characteristics you have and work them to your benefit. After all this is the reason you have them. Supporting others has always played an integral part of my life. To be exact it’s always about focusing on the change that people want. The characteristics that aided me are - communication-listening without judgement, acknowledging what is being said. Showing compassion and empathy and wanting the best for individuals. Believing in the ability of others demonstrating visibility and inclusion. Tapping into the unused raw parts of their awesome ability. This gives me utmost joy to share and serve on the planet. As they say, be the change you want to see. Working on my own self-development informs me that there are many aspects to this one person that I am and it’s ok. I have up’s, downs and in-betweens and I do not have to sway towards perfection as it’s not a category for being human.
Each day strive for better and really acknowledge the gifts you have.
