Why did you become a coach?

At the ripe age of 38, I took a long look at my life and realised that I had never followed through on anything that I wanted to achieve. I had a slew of professional roles and academic qualifications, but not a career in an area I loved and not a lifestyle that I wanted for myself. I wanted more. I wanted to help people. I wanted to make a difference so I decided to invest in learning to help other women to find their way when they have found themselves in that same position.

Who do you work with?

I work with all women (everyone who identifies as female) who are seeking their ‘why’ in life. We work together to take action (sometimes-uncomfortable action) to bring about real change for the better. We work on strategies to build confidence, achieve goals and we work through it all step-by-step. No magic bullets – no false claims – just real, honest-to-goodness coaching in a safe, authentic environment.

Do I really need a coach?

Would you be here and reading this if you didn't? In a global pandemic, it has become really easy to give up on your hopes and dreams, thinking, “I can’t be arsed”, “What’s the point?”, yada, yada, yada… But answer me this: what if you actually could be arsed? What if this was the perfect time to start putting those hopes and wishes into action and to really reaching your potential? You honestly  do not need anymore ‘life hacks’, you don’t need another ‘Five steps to…’ or ‘the idiot’s guide to…’  - You need a PROFESSIONAL COACH.

What can I expect in the virtual coffee and chat session?

This is your fifteen minutes to tell me who you are, what you need help with and how you think we might work together. I will use this time to tell you what it is that I do, to make sure that we are a 'good fit' and to ensure that I can deliver what you are expecting from the coaching relationship. It is incredibly important to me that we work as a partnership and for that reason, this is an open discussion where I will encourage you to speak up if you do not feel able to proceed with the coaching. At the end of this session, you we are ready to proceed, I will book the 60 minute discovery call at a mutually convenient time.

What is a Discovery Call?

Following on from our initial meeting, this is an opportunity to get down to the details. I will have asked to you to prep a brief questionnaire ahead of time and I will have some questions prepared. I encourage you to bring as many questions as you like to the session too. From what we learn here, I will be able to advise how many sessions I think will be necessary for you and I will confirm the cost of those sessions to you. As a general rule, I don't offer one-off sessions as this rarely has the effect desired and does not offer value for money.

Can I have ongoing coaching?

It is really important when we have our discovery call that we work out exactly what we are aiming to achieve from our sessions together. It is not healthy for a client to continue to see a coach on a regular basis after the aims of the contract have been achieved. The whole idea of coaching is to strengthen and enforce your independence as a person so that you can take the lessons learned into other aspects of your life. That is not to say that, if at a later date you have another issue to address/ aim to achieve, you cannot come back to me! Far from it! I welcome return clients for new sessions, but the important element is that coaching is not a crutch and it is a skillset to be learned and used.
