Dominic has over 30 years’ experience in learning and development working with executives, senior teams, managers and employees to build personal and team capability. He has operated in a broad range of business sectors (banking, electronics, water utilities, publishing, ports, research and manufacturing) from small companies to global multi nationals.

He has held senior HR roles with a focus on talent and people development specialisms. Coaching others was a natural extension of the L&D lens and Dominic was actively sought out to provide coaching during periods of change. Dominic mostly enjoys working with clients who want to develop their personal capability. This will usually have a clear business purpose – transition into a new role, previous methods of success no longer working or relationship issues. Assisting someone to successfully navigate these types of issues gives him great gratification.

As the coaching aspects of his roles increased, Dominic undertook formal development in coaching practice to enhance and expand his coaching skills. His coaching has been multifunctional – that’s one of the benefits of being an HR Practitioner – he’s worked with finance, bankers, marketing, communications, HR, scientists and R&D functions. Typically, coachees have been senior managers (leading functional teams). He has provided coaching to all levels of management from first level supervisors up to Directors.


I am an accredited coach and mentor (ILM Level 5 Diploma) and I have an extensive business background across a broad range of industrial sectors. This includes international experience. My 30+ year professional life of developing employees has provided a rich exposure to coaching others and the benefits that brings.

My coaching practice is driven by a desire to enhance a clients capability. This is grounded in a practical, solutions focused approach.
