I am a mum of 2 as well as being a qualified coach, mediator, and mentor. I've got a background in psychology and I've spent the majority of my career working in the corporate world in learning and development particularly in student accommodation. That was where I actually began to develop my coaching skills and my passion for helping others. It was also where I experienced first hand what it's like to make the journey back to work after maternity leave and also manage parenthood with your career.

During that time I experienced a rollercoaster of emotions. I felt the loneliness, anxiety, overwhelming and mum guilt that can come with being a working parent. It's a big decision and can be hard to return to work. You're not the same person you were before you had children and so I have experienced first hand all of those things that you go through when you're a mum returning to work and making the decision to become a working mum.

It is through having been there and struggled myself and through my own experience of getting some coaching during that time that inspired me to change my career. I had the opportunity to take some time to step back and redefine what I wanted from my life and career now I was a parent and it really help me get clear and take some action to have the career and work life balance I wanted for me and my family. It is what's led me to do what I do today for others.

There is very little out there for mums to support them and not just mums but parents generally who are wanting to have a balance between their work and home life so that was what made me really passionate really about taking my personal experience along with my skills and knowledge as a coach from the corporate world and moving that into actually working with mums to really help them go through that those transitions that you go through when you become a working parent. I believe that women should be able to have a fulfilling career and be the parent they want to be without feeling like one have to suffer because of the other.

I have a degree in Psychology along with a post-graduate certificate in Education.

I have 15 years of experience in coaching others in the corporate world as well many years as a learning and development and teaching professional.

I have a Level 7 ILM Certificate in Senior and Executive coaching and mentoring. I am also a mental health first aider.

I am a member of the Association for Coaching and also a level 2 Business Mentor and member of the Association of Business Mentors.

I have undertaken courses on team coaching and am also a qualified and experienced community mediator and coach.
